"I came across this restaurant and was immediately put off by the sign out front (see photo). Using the phrase “Once You Go Black, You Never Go Back” as a marketing slogan is highly disrespectful. This saying has long been tied to racial and sexual stereotypes, and seeing it used casually to sell burgers is disappointing and offensive. Restaurants should create welcoming environments for all customers, and this kind of messaging does the opposite. I hope the owners reconsider their branding and choose language that doesn’t rely on racialized or insensitive stereotypes."

"When you travel to a place like New York for the first time you have a list of things you want to do / eat. (Well I do!) a good burger on my list and this is a good burger. A good sign is that they ask you how you want it cooked. Menu has a good range but not so massive you can’t choose. And was great value. We sat in the window on high stools watching the world go by eating these amazing burgers. Juicy, well put together, toppings and sauces complimenting each other without overpowering. Just a great burger. Husband and I both got burger soda and fries for under $40 dollars and left very satisfied. There was a steady stream of customers so clearly a popular place. Situated on the edge of Tribeca soho and China town."

"Walked past and wanted to try a burger in NYC. Got the Dbl Bacon Cheese combo w/ curly fries. Burger was customized how I wanted it and cooked as I preferred. Service was prompt, and the food overall tasted great. Location is pretty small, but good for people watching on the street. (I can see it getting crowded very easily given that this is NYC.) There's plenty of options to get, so if you're looking for what's on their menu I'd give this location a try for sure."
