"We waited ages for menus, then again for our food. Our server seemed surprised we still hadn’t been served. When the fries finally arrived they were cold; the replacement was only a tiny bit warmer. My burger was dry and overcooked, I ordered medium (see the photo). No one checked on us during the meal. After another 15 minutes waiting for the check, I finally went to the manager to pay. For the price, this was really disappointing. Nice area, but not worth it."

"My daughter and I split this meal, and all courses were absolutely outstanding! The ratatouille was perfect. Served in a crock and wonderfully hearty. Next we had the NY strip. This was by far the best steak we ever had. It was incredibly tender, seasoned to perfection, and served with a single slice of garlic butter on top. Don’t forget to try the crème brûlée. Best again we have ever had. A flavor blast in every bite. We sat outside. The ambiance was peaceful with such a beautiful and relaxing vibe by the water. Already planning our next visit."

"Keeping It Real! I went with my sister to her to go spot to celebrate my birthday. We've been there many times, but this time I decided to try their signature drink, the Frozé. According to the menu, it’s a mix of Hampton Water Rosé, Grey Goose Vodka, Lillet Rosé, and Elderflower. Sounds fancy, right? The place was nearly empty, with just a few people at the indoor bar. We were greeted by a maître d’ who, frankly, didn’t seem thrilled to see us. When we asked if the outdoor bar was open and mentioned we’d like to sit there, she acted like we’d asked for free drinks. Not the warmest welcome. We ended up at the indoor bar and ordered 2 Frozés. Here’s where things got a little iffy for me: I watched the bartender garnish the drinks with a freeze-dried lemon wedge and a tiny flower—using his bare hands. Not ideal. I tried to let it go and took a sip after he brought them to us. My first thought? That’s my sugar intake for the day—done. And I still had cake waiting for me later! The drink was undeniably pretty and tasted good, but it was way too sweet for me. At $18, it’s priced right in line with NYC standards, but I couldn’t tell if I was tipsy from the alcohol or just overwhelmed by the sugar rush. This is not my first trying this drink at other restaurants, but this was the sweetest by far. I couldn’t even consider a second round—my blood sugar said no thanks. Also, no happy hour pricing on the signature drink? That was a letdown for my sister. Overall, Le District has its charm, but this visit didn’t hit the mark at all for me!"

"We really appreciated that they accommodated us even as they were getting ready to close, especially with everything else around already shut. Thank you so much! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we had a great time enjoying their pastas and fries. They have a lovely outdoor seating as well. They offer an impressive selection of cocktails, definitely try the frozen vodka ones!"

"Good food and service, spacious place, can get a bit noisy so not the best for business lunch meetings. French onion soup was tasty, shrimp cocktail was a little overdone, crispy shrimp with sauce was delicious, aged steak frite was done exactly medium rare, branzino fish was good and lobster rolls were ok, a little lacking in the lobster taste."
