"Terrible food. I got steak and eggs for brunch and the steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, was a very cheap cut cooked grey inside. The eggs were slimy and almost as white as egg whites, very likely from a bag. Extremely slow service. We waited over an hour for food, and had to go find our server multiple times, including to get the check. It wasn't even busy. Very bad experience, will not be back."

"Excellent address. We came here around 5pm without reservation. Shout out to lalla Karima for her delicious recipes and the most delicious pastilla au lait I have ever tried. We had the barbes trio (zaalouk is a must), pois chiche salad, lamb couscous, and chicken pastilla💫 Everything was delightful"

"My mother and I visited Barbès for a Saturday brunch yesterday. We had never been. We decided to order the goat cheese and mushroom omelette and the watermelon feta salad and share. Omg. Best omelette ever. We liked it so much we ordered another one! Wonderful service- everything was delicious. We can’t wait to come back again!"

"We love coming here with our friends for a nice dinner. The food is always very fresh and well made. They have an extensive drink list. Highly recommend any of the items on the menu because I haven’t had anything I don’t like."

"The atmosphere was amazing! The staff are all very nice and sweet. It made our experience very pleasurable. The French Onion Soup was good. The mediterranean food didn’t really have the typical Mediterranean spices — I’d absolutely come back and try more of the French food."
