"Horrible …. Let me tell you I AM A HUGE FAN OF TURKISH FOOD . But I never thought that it could be BAD . So I walked in and there are 2 girls cashiers No Hello No Smile on their faces No Nothing …While I was ordering the girl who was taking my order started talking to another customer (because they messed up the order) I paid and still no thank you for your payment or have a sit !!!! ( I said thank you several times ) . I ordered a chicken gyro on the plate . So I sit down the girl brought the food . Not like nicely she kinda threw the tray on the table and still no Enjoy after me saying Thank you !!!The rice was uncooked and chicken was so dry . The bread had a weird taste. So I do not recommend this place ."

"I’ve been here already like 10 times, and each visit just confirms how solid this place is. The food is authentic, flavorful, and always satisfying. The lamb gyro is my personal favorite—juicy, well-seasoned, and wrapped in soft, warm bread. Their chicken shish kebab and red lentil soup are also must-tries. The atmosphere is casual but welcoming, perfect whether you’re dining in or grabbing something late at night (they’re open 24/7!). The staff is friendly and attentive—makes you feel like you’re eating at a family-run place where they actually care about the food and the customer. Portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and everything tastes fresh. I’ve never left hungry, and I always leave happy. If you’re in Brooklyn and craving Turkish or Mediterranean food, Ankara is absolutely worth a visit."

"The restaurant is located in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. They prepare Turkish cuisine. The restaurant is open 24 hours and the food is halal. Tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. Soups, salads, cold and hot appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, desserts and beverages are available. I ordered the babaganoush appetizer which was a generous portion. The small chicken gyro was well-prepared. The small kofte kebab consisted of Turkish-style lamb and beef meatballs with some spices. The meatballs are shaped like small patties and tasted very good."

"I went 7 am! I ordered lentil soup and lamp soup, hummus and falafel with rice and salad. The portion is big! I couldn't finish all. Great flavor!"

"Why there are so many bad reviews? Delicious lamb shish kebab! Amazing Turkish salad on the side with red cabbage! Rice is so delicious! Head and shoulders above Memo shish kebab restaurant, even nothing to compare. Have been buying food to go there within a few years and I didn’t notice any difference in quality. Still is my favorite!"
