"A simple spot serving delicious West African comfort food. We had the Jollof Rice and Egusi with Fufu, and the staff were super welcoming and great about explaining the menu and meat options. Both dishes were richly seasoned and deeply satisfying."

"10/10, if not 20/10. Great food and hospitality. The nicest host and the food was amazing. Can’t go wrong with any option. We had Jollof, Waakye, fried rice, and fried yam. All were amazing. The plantains too. If you like good African food and trying new things. Come here!"

"A Taste of Home in the Bronx Walking into Adom in the Bronx doesn’t feel like stepping into a restaurant; it feels like crossing a threshold back into your grandmother’s kitchen in Ghana. The air is thick with the perfume of smoked fish, slow-simmered palm oil, and the bright, earthy tang of shito. It’s not just food here, it’s inheritance, cooked low and patient. The service? Unscripted warmth. No forced smiles, no transactional pleasantries. They greet you the Ghanaian way, like family who’s been gone too long. A staff member placed a hand on my shoulder and said, “You’re home now. Sit. Eat.” That’s not hospitality; that’s belonging. I started with kelewele, plantains kissed by spice and char, each bite humming with ginger and hidden heat. Then came the fufu with peanut soup, a bowl that could humble a man. The broth was fiery and honest, layered with the slow burn of Scotch bonnets and the soul of chicken meat that had given everything to the pot. Each swallow was a pilgrimage. The waakye arrived like a quiet sermon, beans and rice stained deep with sorghum leaf, crowned with gari, fried plantain, spaghetti (because Ghana does what it wants), shito dark as midnight, and a boiled egg standing guard. It wasn’t pretty. It was powerful. What makes Adom extraordinary isn’t innovation or spectacle; it’s fidelity. They’re not reimagining Ghanaian cuisine, they’re preserving it, unaltered, unapologetic. In a city obsessed with reinvention, Adom dares to remember. Anthony Bourdain once said, “You learn a lot about someone when you share a meal together.” At Adom, you learn about Ghana, its fire, its comfort, its unshakable pride. And if you’re Ghanaian, you remember who you are. Adom isn’t just serving food. They’re serving home, and in this city, that’s the rarest dish of all."

"Adom Cuisine isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a homecoming. From the moment you step inside, the warm hospitality, rich aromas, and vibrant atmosphere transport you straight to West Africa. Every single dish is a celebration of Ghanaian culture and tradition, prepared with authenticity, soul, and care. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. Their jollof rice is perfectly spiced and deeply flavorful, the kind that lingers on your taste buds long after the last bite. The waakye is hearty and comforting, with layers of texture and taste that make it impossible not to devour. And don’t even get me started on the fufu — soft, stretchy, and paired with rich soups that are bold, complex, and deeply satisfying. Every plate here tastes like it was cooked with love in someone’s kitchen back home. What truly sets Adom Cuisine apart, though, is the experience. The staff treats you like family, eager to share the story behind every dish and ensure you leave full and happy. It’s rare to find a restaurant that captures the essence of a culture so perfectly — but Adom Cuisine does just that. If you’re craving authentic Ghanaian food or just want to experience one of New York’s most soulful and flavorful meals, this is the place. Adom Cuisine isn’t just the best Ghanaian restaurant in New York — it’s one of the best dining experiences in the entire city. 🌍🍲🇬🇭"

I had the jollof rice, fufu, egusi, okra soup and everything was cooked to perfection. You can tell the food is made with care and passion. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Portion sizes were generous and prices were very reasonable.
