"Ordered 2 steaks, both arrived hard as shoe leather. Cold, hard fries, cold, coagulated bearnaise sauce. Sent them back and they changed the steaks but nothing else. Slightly better but definitely not worth €30!!! A real shame."

"I really dislike leaving bad reviews so I will temper by starting with the good. The manager here is great and the staff was welcoming and professional. Also a great wine list (but that’s probably everywhere in Aix). Atmosphere and location are great.. this is I believe the only way this restaurant stays open. Now for the bad- The food here is notably disappointing. The meat is scarcely seasoned, the steak quite low quality and very chewy. Caesar salad was decent but nothing special and for the price (in my opinion) not worth it. Funny story: After sending my steak back for being inedible, the Chef sent back a nice FU dollop of BBQ sauce underneath the bottom burger bun so every time I pick up the burger my hands get covered in sauce 😂. We spent a good 10 minutes discussing if he meant to do it and the consensus was a resounding - YES he most definitely meant to do it If the owner of this restaurant actually reads these reviews, you may want to consider replacing your chef and revamping the menu.. "Lovely restaurant on the pedestrian street. I came on two evenings, once just for drinks and once for food, and was made to feel welcome. The Saint Jean rose was my favourite and I just thought that perhaps the staff could be more knowledgeable when recommending wines, other than that I really enjoyed my experience there both times."

"My French friends invited me to this restaurant, they said it was the best in the center, and they were right! Really everything was delicious and the authentic atmosphere of a french restaurant on the street. We had a great time, the staff was polite. Restroom is clean"
