"We came here for our first lunch in Aix-en-Provence. We were excited as it had very good reviews, despite the pricey menu! Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The food was fairly good, but certainly not worthy of the price point. The biggest shortcoming was that almost all the food was criminally under seasoned. Particularly the calamari provençal, which required a huge amount of salt to even taste like anything (thankfully there was salt on the table… I understand why). Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and had the prices been more reasonable, I would have rated it a 4, but with the cost and missing something as simple and essential as salt, I had to give it a 3."

"We stopped for a family lunch at 1.30pm on Monday, 4 adults and 4 kids aged 1 to 7. There were plenty of seats both inside and outside. The waiter showed us to the table and helped us with the menu. The kids’ plates arrived very quickly within 10 minutes, since we ordered the dish of the day, namely fries and beef cutlets; for the starters the adults had a very tasty focaccia with truffles, but then we had to wait for another 30 minutes since the other guests came and were served ahead of us but we were just being ignored , the kids went bananas and the adults were on edge until we literally intercepted the waiter and demanded our meals to be served. The shrimps were tasty, the fish was very soft and melted in the mouth, the steak was also delicious, however the fries were extra dry. Then my husband found hairs on his plate and we complained to the waiter but he didn’t even apologize!!! Instead he just took the plate away and disappeared. We paid 200 euros!!! For 3 kids plates with fries and cutlets, focaccia, 1 fish with sweet potato, a plate of shrimps with rice and a steak with fries. We left zero tips for such a poor service. The food was ok but the service was awful. We are definitely not coming back"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve had in Provence! Every dish was beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and cooked to absolute perfection — flavorful, generous portions, and just hit the spot. Both indoor and outdoor seating were charming — cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and full of character. But the highlight of our lunch? Yori! He was wonderful — spoke perfect English, incredibly patient and kind, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. His service brought a true sense of warm, authentic hospitality that made our whole experience even more special. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place that combines great food, lovely ambiance, and heartfelt service."

"Came for the squid! The portion for the squid was so big totally worth it! I can only say i wished they went a little heavier on seasoning as the salmon tartar and squid lacked flavour. Otherwise really fresh ingredients! I saw someone get the fish which was later deboned looked so good, would get that next time. Ambiance was great!"
