"We were staying in the hotel so we chose this restaurant impromptu. We had California rolls and gyoza Very costly for what it was. I fell sick in the night and vomited for a couple of hours. I never would have imagined that it was the food from the restaurant but the following day we ate at Le Art, the Michelin restaurant and my husband and I both got sick again in the night: I am now 100% convinced that both restaurants have a food problem and checking the reviews from the whole establishment, I can tell we’re not the only ones who’ve gotten sick from eating here."

"Le K in the beautiful Chateau de la Gaude continues to deliver excellent japanese cuisine. This has become my go to place when I want to eat delicious nigiri, sashimi. The fish is sourced from a local fish monger and is simply excellent. The service is impeccable while remaining very casual and super friendly. I typically sit in the lounge/bar area or at the beautiful bar itself, but the entire room is beautiful. If you live in/near Aix or if you are visiting and want to enjoy excellent, simple, very well crafted japanese cuisine in a wonderful setting, don;t hesitate, Le K is where you'll want to go."

"Everything was very tasty! The only thing is that the staff doesn’t speak English at all."

"High quality nigiri! Awesome sake selection and beautiful grounds, must visit them too. Lots of great pieces of art inside an outside the restaurant. Great sommelier too. This place is Michelin recommended."

"One of four restaurants in the exclusive Chateau de la Gaude spa and resort about 15 minutes north of Aix-en-Provence. As we arrived at night in mild rain, we did not have a good view of the site but after seeing pictures, the resort looks beautiful. Brasserie K is the more casual restaurant to its sister and more exclusive Kaiseki (located just next door). The atmosphere is dark, yet warm with some interesting art; includive a pink flamingo feather covered helicopter (don't ask me...I have no idea why). The staff is excellent; very attentive and prompt. The menu selection is somewhat limited but everything we ordered was excellent. Even the cost, which you'd expect to be extremely high, was very reasonable for what we ordered...less than 200 Euro for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts with coffee and 3 cocktails. Note, Google Maps provided a bizarre roundabout way of getting to the hotel...through a dirt road that actually never connected so we had to back track. Take care if you are driving on your own."
