"Really expensive!! 26€ for a cocktail 😡 The waitress was rude and forgot to bring us bread and was really annoyed every time we asked her anything. Service was slow. Food was ok but the overall experience wasn’t great. A real shame as the setting is amazing."

"Always remembering the night - Wine card: great! Had a vintage by the glass which I liked a lot. Thank you for that! Service: between charming & rude - my wife (Vegetarian) asked for a little flexibility on the menu (for the beef burger to have something veggie instead of the beef) short answer: no Instead, she was an offered an „amazing“ pasta of the day (pasta arabbiata) Me, I had some duck breast with a potato tarte. The pasta wasn’t only super uncreative, but also super expensive at 32€ for a very small portion. The duck breast was okay, but the potato tarte lukewarm and clearly convenience. I don’t know if they changed or just had plenty of their negative reviews removed, however last year it definitely far below par of what to expect from their price range and Château de la Gaude overall experience."

"Very beautiful dinner, outside with great atmosphere. I liked the wine list and the menu dishes. I recommend the shrimp carpaccio and the lobster roll, desserts were also very tasty! Just small notice, the service was good, but the serving first women should be a must and it was not the case. Nevertheless, great evening with friends!"

After a delightful wine tasting experience, our sommelier graciously arranged a lunch reservation at La Source, and from the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The view from the restaurant is nothing short of breathtaking; it's a scene that truly defies description. Pictures simply cannot capture the sheer beauty that surrounds you as you dine amidst the lush garden, attended to by a team of attentive and gracious waitstaff who anticipate your every need. As for the food, each dish is a masterpiece in its own right. From the truffle quesadilla, adorned with rich black truffle and oozing with melted cheese, to the succulent escargot and the innovative octopus dog, every bite is a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate. However, the true star of the show is the lobster roll, a work of art in both presentation and taste. Generous chunks of lobster, topped with decadent caviar, create a culinary experience that is nothing short of divine. Even with high expectations, La Source manages to exceed them effortlessly. Every dish is crafted with precision and care, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary techniques. It's a dining experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite has been savored. Without a doubt, I will return to Restaurant La Source again and again whenever I find myself in France.
