"Le Mer Restauarnt in Aix en Provence is amazing food atmosphere and great service. Located across from the Apple Store in Downtown, this little gem is only 7 months old and services the best Moules & Frites Mussels (3) different ways €18-€21 each and all come with fries. From The fish to the boullion seafood to everything on the menu including deserts is simply the best. They open for lunch at 12 Noon and our cute server from Portugal Filipina was superb. Everyone at the restaurant came Up to our table 3-4x and asked how are food was and service?? We love this great restaurant and great for any occasion with inside and outside patio dining..!! You will love the lunch or dinner Menu at a great value…!!"

"My husband & I were craving Moules & Frites (mussels & fried es) and we decided to try La Mer while visiting Aix en Provence. The food was delicious, they offered many French wines by the glass (we enjoyed Chablis), and the service was outstanding. The owners were both attentive and Filipina, our lovely server was professional yet approachable. We were the only tourists in the restaurant as the locals have discovered this hidden gem. Highly recommend the especially on a lovely sunny day to take advantage of their spacious hotel outdoor patio."

"The restaurant has a misting system, so even on a hot day, you feel refreshed and comfortable while dining — a small touch that makes a big difference. As for the bouillabaisse, it's served here in a modern fusion version, not the classic two-step Marseille style. But it’s still very interesting — a flavorful combination of different seafood and fish in one beautifully presented dish. It’s a creative take that brings variety and a fresh twist to a traditional recipe. Definitely worth trying if you're open to something a bit different."
