"What a warm, welcoming, and very cozy spot to discover in Aix! With three weeks in France, we had indulged in plenty of rich French good and were looking for something different and lighter for one night. Mariole was just the spot. It was charming, and the staff could not have been nicer. When we spotted the Italian pizza oven, we were encouraged that the pizza would be authentic, and the Margherita did not disappoint. We enjoyed an exceptionally nice salad with the pizza and left very happy. We visit Aix on a regular basis, and Le Mariole will become a regular spot. Thank you for you kindness and excellence."

"We had dinner at Le Mariole in Aix-en-Provence and absolutely loved it. The margarita pizza and salad were both fantastic—so fresh and full of flavor. The wine selection, while not huge, was very well chosen and paired perfectly with our meal. Service was excellent—efficient, friendly, and welcoming. To top it all off, the *le pan perdu* dessert was marvelous, the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful I'm. Highly recommend this spot!"

"I love it! The waiter was very nice and friendly! We had pasta with truffle, pizza for sharing (with eggplant i think it was called tuscany) and tiramissu! Benissimo 😋"

"I wasn't very hungry. Had a delicious Negroni, then the ravioli with jumbo shrimp in a savory butter sauce. One of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in my life. Very generous portion. Highly recommended. Try to sit outside if you can, gets a little hot in the room with the pizza oven. By the way, the pizza looks incredible. How to delicious glass of white wine with my dish."

"Food tasty and good portion sizes. Service slow and not very attentive. Nice enough atmosphere but on a busy pedestrian street of sitting outside, so lots of passers-by. The food was better than the local French restaurants. The single toilet upstairs is a disgrace and not fit for use for animals, let alone paying customers."
