"Excellent! Homey, perfect location, quiet, lovely garden, lovely renovated old house. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. They are sisters, and Pauline was on duty while we were there (with limited English but good enough), though Valerie helped us on arrival. Lovely kitchen, living room and garden, so for some meals we brought food and ate there. Tip: For breakfast they provide only sweet / plain things, so we bought cheese nearby to augment it. (They provide fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, baguette, croissant, jam, granola/muesli, and excellent homemade yogurt). What they provide is excellent, but we prefer not to eat a sweet breakfast. Our room's double bed was in the loft, up a steep narrow staircase, which was fine for us but might not suit some people. Bathroom is sparkling new. A laundromat is 2 blocks away, and for things we didn't put in the dryer there, we could hang our clothes on the lines in the large sunny garden."

"Very friendly owners. The breakfast is served in the garden which makes is magical. Most of the breakfast is home made including jam and very good yogurt. The location is very good. No parking since the street are very narrow. The rooms are with two level and stairs which might be not suitable for everybody."

"Marie and Floriane are gratuitous hostesses. Breakfast with them was a delight. Well appointed and centrally located. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful garden. We plan to return."

"The apartment is marvelous and locatef in the center of Aix. Marie is lovely and very helpful and knows the area really well. If you go to Aix (what you definitely should) you should book this apartment!"

"Le Jardin de Marie was a nice surprise in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. Marie is super sweet and her house is as gorgeous as it can be. With a lovely dining room from the 16th century and a fantastic garden, the light filters in the space filling it with an aura of magic. Our room was small but comfy, and honestly we could not have asked for more. Plus, next morning we were greeted by the smell of toasted bread and a very lovely french breakfast."
