"The starter was great, I tasted sausages with lentils and it was very tasteful. The main dish instead, blanquette de veau, was tasteless. The rice was totally bland without any flavor, the quantity of the meat was poor, not enough to give the taste. Anyway, the place was nice and the waiters were kind. Just it took ages to have two coffees. The price is totally affordable."

"Came here for dinner on a Saturday night around opening time and was seated straight away. We sat in the square which was a beautiful and romantic setting. Service was friendly and prompt, and the menu had classic French dishes. It was simple food executed well with fresh produce, we couldn’t fault anything. Best priced meal in Aix as well!"

"Amazing local restaurant in a beautiful square in Aix en Provence. There was a queue of locals when it opened so that says a lot! Intimate and stylish inside, we chose to sit outside in the square on cute little tables. Wonderful atmosphere and traditional, but very well perfected local Mediterranean food. My chef partner was in heaven! Also very reasonably priced and fantastic service. Highly recommended."

"You get what you pay for. Here, the servings are basic with no fuss -sausage with mash, is exactly that. Prices are low, enabling a two-course lunch for less than 20€ (justifying the 4 ⭐️review). Especially the escargots and the sausage aux herbes were really tasty. Nice location with a calming fountain as backdrop. Friendly service."
