"Nice place outside the hustle of the main square. We always sat on the sidewalk with our dogs and got the plat du jour which was incredible no matter what it was. Nice people, good prices. Good bière and wine."

"Exceptional!! God has heard our prayers! On our 4th day travelling in the south of France we finally found a restaurant serving authentic french cuisine!! For the starter we shared herring and terrine. For the mains we had duck, rabbit and beef l'authentic. The hostess (the lady singly taking care of everything in the hall) personified hospitality and concern for the guests. And I finally got aligote - a french grape variety rarely found even in the french outlets. Thank you, Le Bistrot!!"

"This restaurant was perfect. We ate here the first night in town and it was lovely. The street is quiet and peaceful. There was no electronic music (which many other restaurants seem to love). The staff was honestly some of the most sweet and kind staff I’ve encountered in France. As for food it was simple, tasty and reasonably priced. We had a the salmon rillete as an appetizer (as a result of inaccurate menu pointing on my part) and it was really great. The combo of the smoked salmon, the soft bread and delicious olive oil was divine. Also had the duck config which fell off the bone and was perfectly moist. My dining companion enjoyed the risotto and ratatouille which provided a well balance flavor combo. We finished with the crème brûlée which was unique because the cream was less sweet than other places which balanced the cooked sugar topping well. We don’t have reservations and sat outside. It was very nice. Outside seating seems to fit 2 people max. Make reservations for more."

"Le Bistrot is a phenomenal place to eat while in Provence. It feels very authentically French, with fantastic food and great service, at a reasonable price. It’s definitely worth the extra walking distance, slightly off the beaten track and away from the bustling centre. If you find yourself in Provence looking for an affordable, delicious French restaurant, don’t hesitate to give Le Bistrot a try."

"Good little bistro tucked away in a little alley. Nice menu with funny names. Good "home style" food. A few regional wines by glass, carafe or bottles. Cocktail and beers too. Good service. Recommended"
