"The Grande Bastide Social and Cultural Center offers services and activities for all ages: children's after-school programs, youth programs, family and parenting support, specific programs for seniors, festive events, and cultural and wellness workshops. Details of activities include: cultural outings (theater, museums, leisure activities, heritage sites, environmental sites, etc.), parent/child activities (music and dance classes, motor skills activities, storytelling for children aged 0-3, discussions with early childhood professionals), dance classes (rock, salsa, Sevillanas, hip hop, Brazilian dance), yoga classes, gentle exercise, capoeira, choir, the "La Troc'rie" exchange space, Qi Gong, children's theater, music lessons (piano, guitar, bass, recorder, and flute), line dancing for seniors, and more. Tutoring is also available for primary and secondary school students on weekday evenings outside of school holidays. There is also a service for parents (picking up children on foot from the Val Saint André schools), intergenerational gatherings, information and exchanges, assistance with administrative procedures, a cultural outreach program, activities for seniors, help with using digital tools, a discussion space, legal advice, and an Alcoholics Anonymous group. The Community Center also offers a recreational program for children aged 3 to 13, divided into age groups, and a youth center for 14- to 17-year-olds on Wednesdays and during school holidays. Key projects include a digital project, a music recording studio, volunteer community service (youth workcamps), writing workshops, public speaking competitions, and inter-sectoral youth activities."

"Friendly center of the neighborhood's cultural life: welcoming, dynamic, many varied activities are offered there, the proactive animation is noticeable. The badly damaged building reveals the need for an increasingly urgent structural renovation... where are the public authorities???"

"I went there for Halloween to visit the haunted house 🎃 It was great, my 9-year-old son loved it. The actors performed beautifully, it was really good. The downside was the wait and the lack of activities for the children while we waited for our turn. I think we should assign a number when booking and call that number when our turn comes around. This would allow the children to play and do activities. I waited 45 minutes for a 10-minute visit, and we left without a single candy in my son's bucket. Drawing workshops or something else would have been welcome. An additional financial contribution could be requested. For the haunted house, it was 1 euro per person, really cheap given the quality of the show. Bravo to the entertainers 👍"

"The La Grande Bastide social and cultural center, located in the hills above Val Saint André, offers leisure activities for children and a variety of activities for adults in a wonderful setting. Don't hesitate to visit the website; I'm sure you'll find something to satisfy your curiosity, meet new people, and share moments of intergenerational connection."

"Nothing to complain about except that there aren't many places to park anymore. Otherwise, you can find some further down. A little climbing is good for your health 😊"
