"A wonderful experience. Attentive staff, well-seasoned food, crispy and generously portioned pizza! Prices were reasonable."

"After having great pizzas before, we decided to come back for pasta. The result: a total let down. The Calabria was too salty while the Bolognese was overwhelmed with thyme, masking all other flavors. At least the pasta was cooked al dente, but it still couldn’t save the dish. The prices were reasonable and the staff were nice. Regardless, not the best place for pasta."

"Simple, but a gem of an Italian spot! Went here twice during my stay in Aix. The pizza is good, crispy crust and not too thick. Pasta arrabbiata very nice as well. It’s self service but staff is extremely friendly despite it being quite a busy place during both lunches and dinners. Would return! 🍝"

"IT Italian Trattoria – Aix-en-Provence A lovely spot with a fresh, modern feel. We tried the pasta insalata, which was delicious — light yet full of flavour, with quality ingredients that really stood out. The service was friendly and efficient, making it a great choice for a relaxed Italian lunch in the heart of Aix."

"Presentation is almost everything but taste is personal and for me, it was lacking the latter. While a Michelin rated restaurant, a fixed price menu is also not my favorite thing especially when there are 2 prices, There were 6 item at 110 E and 4 for 80 E, the 110 E price included the protein items all 6 courses while the 80 E had 4, no protein. And we are talking bite sized courses, no problem with that .1st course a mini pizza type starter,, then a type of tuna mousse , reminded us of a Hartz Squeeze Up with this crisps, lovely to view but definitely not our favorite, then eggplant rolled around some tomato type chutney with thin eggplant crisps on top, not exciting, sorry but I still cook from scratch, then a prawn came, that was 1 of the 6 , so only 1 came, then a stuffed zucchini flower with a single zucchini stalk, and there is basically a bread/starch with every course that matches the item. Then the last protein which was a fish which while petite and lovely was drenched in a really really spicy sauce so you could not taste the fish, more bread. Dessert was pretty, an almond shape tiramisu, assorted chocolate pieces & a cassata (?) cake, that's the white dessert with pistachios on the top, sort of an interesting take .Service was excellent with an explanation of everything and decor lovely. Took pictures of almost everything to send to our family, it's a family tradition when traveling."
