"Family run very informative and friendly presentation and then free to explore the sight. The lavender lemonade was very refreshing in 37c heat"

"An enjoyable afternoon at this lovely farm. We sat in the shade in the fields and had a picnic lunch after the brief but informative educational session. The gift shop is well curated and we made multiple purchases. We felt like we were on a movie set, the scene is stunning. I do not understand the polarizing and negative reviews. I would gladly pay $7 to enter this private property. A long tour doesn't necessarily equate to better. They allow you to bring your own food and drinks. Attention is paid to creating multiple seating areas with different vantage points. Ignore the negativity, give it a try, and have an enjoyable and memorable experience."

"I had an enchanting experience at Maison de Lavande - Terre Ugo at the end of July 2024. The customer experience was exceptional, and the team made my visit truly enjoyable. Louie gave a great overview on the history of the farm from past to present. The farm is a serene and charming place, perfect for a relaxing getaway, event or photoshoot. An added convenience is the bus service from Centre Ville to the farm, which takes about 15 minutes (one way) and costs less than 3 euros round trip. Highly recommend visiting for a delightful day out!"

"The smell of lavender = instant relaxation. This is a small farm but they have created a friendly place where you can slow down, relax and enjoy a few hours surrounded by the smell of lavender. Here I discovered that reading a book whilst surrounded by the relaxing smell of lavender is one of life’s pleasures! We were warmly welcomed with a small bag of lavender salt then listened to a short talk about how they use natural means to control weeds, the white snails, how they had to replant due to excess heat last year, etc. All the staff were smiling and helpful - immediately running over to help move a picnic bench into the shade, helping with dietary needs in the cafe and joking in the shop. We ate food from the small cafe which was delicious (see photo) but we could have brought a picnic too. We walked, took photos then lay down and read our books in the shade on the rugs they provide. They have information posts, pétanque and soap making and a shop too. Easy to get to - no.12 bus goes from the centre of Aix and stops right outside, pay by credit/debit card machine on the bus. Photos of the lavender, a poppy amongst the lavender, lunch, book in the shade, rows on right with baby plants, information posts, deckchairs"
