"What’s not to love?! Wandering around the city and solving puzzles in NYC! We signed up for the Hudson Yards event and had a blast! The puzzles were engaging and super clever. Literally hidden in plain sight. The cluemasters were super nice and gave clear instructions! Loved the fact that we had time to mingle with the other teams at the end to swap stories! Would totally recommend and will definitely do again!"

"We (3 puzzle enthusiasts) did the Great Gotham Challenge for the first time on June 14, 2025, and we had a great time despite the rainy weather. We thought the puzzles were fun, and it was a well-executed event. FYI for those not from NYC - this is a NYC-themed puzzle hunt, so us two non-NYC folks benefited greatly from our NYC friend's local knowledge. I'm confident we could've figured things out eventually, but it definitely would've taken us longer. I would absolutely do this event again and recommend it to anyone who likes puzzles."

"GGC is an absolute blast!! The puzzles are super creative and really varied. It makes you feel like a kid again in the best way—running around the city, taking in the sights and sounds, and hunting for clues. Everything was super smooth and well organized. Whether you're doing it as a team event or just a fun day with friends, I can't recommend it enough!!"

"I've lived ten years in NYC. The Great Gotham Challenge very well may be my #1 favorite thing to do here, full stop. It has taught me so much about the city's rich history, routing me through occult passageways and reliving the nostalgia of golden times past. Imaginative and funny. Total novices and veteran puzzle racers alike have much to gain in trying their hand."

"I am a huge fan of GGC! I think a lot of "grownups" are skeptical of running around doing a scavenger hunt but people are quickly converted! I've done two challenges with them now, the first in Central Park and the second around Midtown. I was so impressed with the elaborate nature of the clues and how interactive the games are! The level of detail the team puts into the clues and the experience is fantastic. Everyone I've done it with always has a blast, and it's so fun to feel like a real-life Sherlock Holmes for a few hours. I highly recommend it —this might be my new yearly thing!"
