"We had the best experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Downtown, especially working with Liza! For context, I’m a professional dancer (not in ballroom), and my partner is not a dancer—so I was nervous about finding someone who could create a first dance that was both beautiful and challenging, but still approachable for us as a couple. Liza exceeded every expectation. She’s not only an incredible dancer but also an exceptional teacher. She took the time to understand my background, incorporated my preferences and style, and still made sure my partner felt confident and comfortable. The choreography struck the perfect balance—elegant, memorable, and tailored exactly to us. Our guests were completely wowed by our first dance, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the wedding. We’re so grateful for Liza’s creativity, patience, and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone—whether you’re brand new to dance or looking for something a bit more advanced. She’s amazing!"

"It was a fairytale experience getting to work with the team at Fred Astaire Dance Studios for our wedding dance. My fiance doesn't have any dancing experience and I haven't danced since I was a kid, so we are both very new. Joel was super easy to work with and very understanding/kind. He described everything in detail and was quick to show us how to do certain moves while matching pace. He also took videos to show our progress and help us remember steps! I can't wait to try out our new moves on the wedding day! Definitely recommend the team 😊"

"My wife and I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience at this dance studio! I came in with zero dance experience and we left with a beautifully choreographed dance and complete confidence for our wedding day. Our instructor, Ulyana, was phenomenal - patient, encouraging, and incredibly talented. She made every lesson enjoyable and customized the choreography perfectly to our abilities. The studio team even organized a small audience toward the end of our lessons, which helped us tremendously in preparing for our live performance. On our wedding day, our dance was a huge hit, impressing all our guests and creating a memory we’ll cherish forever. We highly recommend this studio, and especially Ulyana!"
