"There are delicious food choices in the theater's cafe. I also am a big fan of the foreign films at the Elinore Bunin movie theater."

"Elinor Bunin Munroe is an outstanding film venue on 65th, at Lincoln Center, located directly across from Juilliard. Like its neighbor Walter Reade theater, EBM showcases foreign and indie films. EBM is a bit more modern and upscale than Walter Reade, with a very nice cafe that serves some excellent croissants. EBM has two screening rooms, both with nice oversized and comfortable seats. On this occasion I went to see ‘Souleymane’s Story’, which was an excellent thought provoking film about a guy from Guinea seeking asylum in Paris, and his life as a food delivery bike rider. It’s a fascinating film that shows a reality that most of us have no clue about. EBM was a perfect venue for such a film. The layout and design of the theater itself is beautiful, its larger surroundings (Lincoln Center), is, of course, spectacular. Most of the patrons who attend such screenings are interesting and engaging folk. Don’t be surprised if you get involved in a discussion on a film while you’re there. It almost never fails to happen, and it’s always a pleasure. If you already know and love Walter Reade across the street, and you already have an interest in foreign or indie films, then EBM has to become one of your hangouts! I’ll end here, as I don’t want to ramble on and on (too late), but you get the idea. Just go and enjoy one of the coolest film venues in the City."

"Amazing experience. I had an invitation for a short film festival. Had really good time. It’s worth time of myself having city life. If I have another invitation next time again, I will go again."

"it is a small theater with modern design. it only has two screens, so there are not many movies on. BUT, this theater is a popular one. in my opinion, it is because the movies they picked are great. When you are watching the movies, you would think about some questions, for exmples, what the movie want to tell me, why it happen? the movies do not have special effect, or have a lot of movie stars in their cast, but all of them are imressive. i watched all movies are on this cinema, and i love them. here are some suggestion if you are going to this theater. they are nonprofit cinema, so they dont play tons of movie trial after the schedule. make sure you come on time. second, most of people love fifth row, but i think fourth row is the perfect row."

"Just saw the movie Jane today and it was a pleasant experience. We arrived about 15 minutes early and got great seats. It got packed so definitely arrive a little early! They also have a cute little cafe with different breakfast, lunch and dessert options. You can bring your snacks into the theater which is always a plus."
