"The drinks are really good and well made. I usually get the mango milk tea with cheese foam and mango popping bubbles, and it’s so good!! Their brown sugar milk tea is also really good, probably one of the best I’ve had so far. And their cups are always so pretty with cute designs. Would definitely recommend!"

"I am a milk tea lover! ❤️ Modern Teashop “Chabaxi” really surprised me with this Amazing look and taste of the drinks I ordered! Every cup feels like a piece of art — rich tea aroma, smooth cream, and stunning presentation. Fruit teas are made of fresh seasonal fruits. I would definitely recommend you to try their new product Matcha Matcha! This would be my top favorite drink. Matcha tea flavor, smooth and sweetness is just right. I really appreciated the computer ordering system, which lets you see pictures of each drink and customize the sugar, ice, and toppings easily and fast ordering. Overall the tea shop is bright, clean, and the panda-themed cups are irresistibly cute and perfect for photos! Definitely one of the most creative tea spots in midtown NYC!"

"Has one of the best looking cups I’ve seen for a bubble tea shop. I did feel however that the tea taste was lacking. They probably watered it down too much. Not sure if I’ll come back given the number of options in the area."

"I’ve visited Modern Tea Shop before, and was super happy with my drink (rose milk tea). Today I decided to try it again and go for a different flavor! They have a lot of floral-inspired teas which is unique and a great reason to go. I got the matcha jasmine milk tea (oat milk) with boba (50% sugar), and thought it was 7/10. The oat milk wasn’t as creamy, so it caused the drink to be a bit watery unfortunately. Also, the jasmine flavor was not very pronounced, either due to the way it’s made or the sugar level I chose. Not sure I would get that drink again, but would recommend the rose milk!"

"Delicious bubble tea and they have tables & chairs to sit down :) We were in town, tired from walking all day, and craving bubble tea. Their boba is beautifully cooked and easy to chew. Lots of flavor and topping options and you can customize ice and sweetness. Bonus: dairy-free milk alternatives. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can order online ahead of time, at a kiosk, or with an actual person. We’ll be back!"
