"Excellent, incredibly delicious food. The beef we had was herby and soooo flavorful and the listed fries were delicious. Very generous portions, nice outdoor seating options. So pleasantly surprised to find this spot and will visit again any chance I get! Mouth watering right now just thinking about it…."

"My 1st time trying Ethiopian food and I am in love! The food portions is great! Flavorful and extremely yummy! I'm in love with the beet salad! The goat cheese is absolutely creamy and Divine! The French fries are hot and crispy! Well seasoned with a perfect hint of spice. The chicken rice bowls are seasoned well and the rice is cooked to perfection! You guys gotta try it! There are seats out front under shade and It's a perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat and enjoy the nice weather! I will be back to try the other items on the menu."

"Ethiopian eats on Governor's Island! Cute cafe with outdoor seating on a grassy field under lots of shade. The kids played some connect four while we waited for our food. Really loved their beef tips wrap! Extremely flavorful tender beef pieces with a creamy spicy sauce, the lettuce added a balancing cool texture. We also shared the beef tibs and chicken rice bowls."
