"I was always a fan of the original NYC location. The quality control here is bad. Everything is either freezer burned or looks like it melted and was refrozen. Rarely do you ever see anything there that looks like a fresh batch. I think the flavors are better than other places in Hoboken I'm always turned off when I go there."

"I have been visiting Hoboken area for a decade and I always had a fond memories until last night. I visited the place after dinner with my kids. Every small cup they were selling had minimum of two scoops.my kids wanted one scoop instead of two. Staff told me extra cup is free. So I requested the staff to divide the two scoop in to two cups. He said that's perfect solution. Then at the payment counter he charged me for 2 small cups instead of one. When I explained him that you just told me "extra cup is free" he said "I don't know. Pay for 2 small cups.". He became aggressive and started saying "I am not listening to you you just pay and go". My kids were sleepy and tired so I just paid and left. But along the way back - my little girl kept asking "Why was that person rude to me? Maybe he didn't like me? Am I a bad person?".....I just didn't know what to say. Never coming back to this place."

"Over priced , vainilla flavor has pieces of butter, somehow we didn’t feel like it was fresh. Not tasty at all."

"The place was quite crowded when we passed by the first time so had to come back and try it out. First thing first, the staff is extremely nice and kind. They knew we were Muslims and were forthcoming with the flavors that had alcohol in them (which we really appreciated). They have 3 diff sizes to choose from and with the small size you get to pick 2 flavors. You also get to sample 2 flavors. We went complete 180 and got 2 different flavors from the ones we tried. I got cheesecake and milk chocolate which ended up making it too sweet (my fault clearly) and tasted more like an ice cream than a gelato. It’s $8 for the small size and they fill it up quite generously. They have a few tables outside. Will certainly be back to try more flavors and increase the stars then :)"

"LOVED this place!! The flavors are so interesting. I understand why they limit you to 2 samples but I wanted to try them all they all sounded so good. I highly recommend the honey lavender & basil combo. I definitely will be back."
