"I love For Five coffee!! Every time I go in, the service is always so great! I come here at least once during the work week right around 7, and the smell of pastries and cookies as they open is always so delicious. Such friendly staff and always smiling! The pastries are great (especially the spinach pies and the almond croissants!!!) and the coffee is even better. Always a great start to my morning when I go in."

"This was one of the most disappointing coffee experiences I’ve ever had. The place is beautiful, I walk in and order an iced red eye. The coffee is expensive but that’s not an issue if it’s good. I watch the barista dose the shot and then tamp the grounds without leveling them so I already know the shot is gonna be terrible. He then proceeds to stop and start the shot, more than once instead of just repulling. I took a sip and yes it was horrendous, under extracted, watery shot that couldn’t be saved by the cold brew. Had a terrible, prickly mouthfeel as well. I threw it away and walked out. If your baristas don’t care about the product you really don’t have anything 🤷🏽‍♀️"

"I first have to wonder what is wrong with the people who posted one star reviews. The experience that they describe is not this place. This place is very trendy with great staff. The people are friendly. The coffee is amazing. I can only assume that those one star reviews from people having a bad day and decided to take it out on a coffee shop."

"Stopped by for a afternoon coffee session and was quite impressed how close it is to the Times Square. Got caramel latte and it tasted good, I enjoyed my cuppa. The Barista who was there to serve was quite passive and rude, hence 1 star for the service. She was rude while taking order and also had a vague reply when asked for a restroom, not at all pleasant 😒"

"I’d like to share a review about this place, highlighting that the coffee is truly delicious and I highly recommend it; it has an excellent and very pleasant flavor. However, I’d like to mention that my experience wasn’t entirely perfect due to the customer service, which I think could improve quite a bit. The man who took my order seemed to be having a tough day, and his attitude wasn’t very warm. When I thanked him after picking up my coffee, I didn’t get any response, not even a small gesture of courtesy, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I believe that in a place where they serve such great coffee, the customer service should match that quality with a friendlier and more welcoming approach. I’m sure that with a bit more warmth in the service, the experience would be amazing. That’s why, although I loved the coffee, I’m giving them three stars, hoping they can improve the customer service in the future."
