"I have been a long standing patron of Cafe Gitane being a Mott Street regular from back in the early 90's. Vinegar Hill is the perfect spot for Luc's restaurant vibe from the early days. Lovely all around."

"A gem of a bistro cafe! Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The breakfast sandwich with sausage was perfectly spiced and the baguette bread fresh and crispy. The baked eggs with salmon was delicious- piping hot with potatoes and capers. A simple dish but elevated by the fresh ingredients and herbs. The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere relaxed and informal. Will definitely be back."

"Came in for a quick dessert. Had an ice cream and espressos. Nice little corner spot and the service was great. Will have to come back for the actual heavier food."
