"Going to MG Hair was the best decision I’ve ever made. I came here due to a hair mess up, the salon I went to before gave me black hair when I asked for a dark brown shade. MG Hair helped me get what I wanted, and provided such amazing service with water, snacks, and lovely staff. Although their prices were a bit high, their service and attention to detail explains otherwise. Definitely recommend coming here and will be returning back!!"

"I’ve gotten my hair cut and styled with Hang three times now and I live in Manhattan but am willing to commute because he is so consistent and keep my hair healthy. The haircut is always exactly what I ask for and he never cuts it too short. His curling technique is perfect and turns out exactly like the photo. I’ve referred friends to him and they were just as satisfied with their results. The price is $68 for a women’s haircut which is reasonable for the experience with hair wash, cut, style."

"Found this gem about two years ago and have been coming back ever since. Showed one photo to Stylist Xing and he gets it right every single time. He takes his time truly trying to get your hair done right. Would recommend him to anyone new looking for a stylist (Don't make him too busy or else I'm going to have to wait longer). My hair has been more dead recently so when I visited today for a cut, they even hooked me up with an essential oil (that smells amazing) to help with hair recovery , which was totally unexpected! The vibes are amazing and the stylists truly take care of you. Can't recommend this place enough."

"I showed Hugo an inspiration photo and asked for layers and bangs, and he understood exactly what I was going for. He was very attentive and detailed, keeping my length while cleaning up the ends. He only had to look at the photo once and delivered exactly what I wanted. My hair now feels lighter, healthier, and has great movement, which is perfect for the summer. I’m very happy with the result and would definitely recommend him."

"I found this hair salon while exploring Flushing, drawn in by its high Google Reviews. I was surprised to learn they have multiple locations—I had no idea it was such a well-known chain! The salon was packed, but the experience was flawless except for the price. A men’s haircut cost me about $55, which is a bit steep, but the service was meticulous. They washed my hair twice, and the entire process felt very professional, reminiscent of high-end Asian salons. I only gave a few instructions, and the stylist delivered exactly what I wanted. As an Asian with thick, slightly curly, and flat-lying hair (especially tricky at the back), I often struggle to find stylists in the U.S. who can handle it well. Western salons rarely get it right, but this stylist nailed it in just 30 minutes. The whole experience was excellent—my only complaint is the price, but given how busy it was, it seems most people find it reasonable. I also discovered they have a branch in Manhattan, which is much closer to me, so I won’t need to travel as far next time. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch haircut in Flushing or NYC!"
