"I live around the corner and had a bow tie come apart right as I was getting dressed for an event. It was 4:30 on a Saturday and Julia’s Custom Tailor & Alterations was closing soon, but Julia didn’t hesitate—she ushered me in and quickly stitched it back together perfectly, even though she was about to close. She genuinely saved my night. The work was excellent, and her kindness and professionalism really stood out. This is exactly the kind of local business you hope to find. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend her."

"Very swift and quick. Julia adjusted the back of my shirt that had ripped in under 10 minutes. She was very helpful, fast, and courteous and I would be more than happy to come back and alter more outfits with her!"

"Amazing service - always on time or done earlier! Reasonably priced. Julia is highly skilled and always does the cleanest and best work with her alterations. I've had dresses/pants hemmed, straps shortened, waists taken in and have been happy with all of their work. She is super professional and sweet. There's a reason this place has so many repeat clients. Highly recommend! :)"

"I’m very disappointed with the service I received. After carefully reviewing the alterations on my dress at home, I noticed several issues: an elastic band was added to the back (something we never discussed), which makes the back rise and leaves the hem uneven in the front. The back neckline is also smaller than before the fabric was cut, there’s excess fabric on the sides, the bow has a crooked seam, and the hems show very unprofessional stitching. Considering I paid $140, I expected careful and professional work, but that was not the case. On top of that, after sending several emails requesting a refund, I never received any reply. Very poor experience and I would not recommend this place."
