"So, I live right around the corner from Hideaway Spa. I pass it every day and one day a couple months ago I happened to notice the Sidewalk sign in plain sight and thought “How in the world did I miss this?!” Needless to say, I walked in to check it out and was immediately greeted with a kind smile, a warm hello and a sincere interest in accommodating me, all while being extremely professional. Most times people don’t seem to be able to both but these ladies do EVERY time. My first massage was a 90 min deep tissue and outstanding! Every touch was precise and effective, while also being nurturing and caring. I have had MANY massages in my life and I have had terrible massages to amazing massages. This massage was AMAZING. The only negative? It ended too soon, it was 90 min but I didn’t want it to end, so that’s on me for only booking 90 min 🤣. I have since that day been going 2-3 times a week (learned my lesson, I book 2-3 hrs now 😇), I am not sure if every masseuse at Hideaway has given me a massage (when they come in I’m face down) but I know many, if not most of them have and I HAVE NOT HAD ONE BAD OR EVEN MEDIOCRE MASSAGE. Every one of those amazing women bring a little something different (not better or worse just different), however they all approach your body with the exact same precision, nurturing and caring touch. For YEARS I have struggled with chronic shoulder, back, lower back, over all body tightness and after about my 4th visit, I have noticed those knots are finally gone. They start the massage and basically get a layout of what’s going on, where the tightness is, then with this amazing ability, work through it by focusing on the origin, not just where the pain is. Hands down the absolute best massages I have ever received…and to deliver consistently is amazing! I know this is waaay too wordy of a read, but I just can’t say enough great things about these wonderful ladies."

"This was my first visit and I usually don't write reviews.... I feel compelled to share that I had an exceptional massage and experience at Hideaway. I have had 4 back surgeries and the massage person named "Daisy" listened to my concerns and worked on the muscle spasms in my back and took the time to work the knots out and help my back relax after many days of tense pain.... The Spa was very clean and all the staff people including the desk girl were friendly and professional...I highly recommend this spa and if you are lucky enough to get Daisy I am sure you will get a pro deep tissue massage."

"I’ve been coming here for over a year and always tipped generously, but after my last two visits, I won’t be returning. During one massage, the therapist kept pushing to add extra services, and during the next, another therapist asked me to “take care of her” with a tip — both made me feel uncomfortable. I also noticed the sessions were shorter than the full 75 minutes, and the front desk commented about me not having cash to her colleague while I was waiting for the elevator in a heated exchange constantly using the phrases “cash tip”, “cash payment”, etc, even though I left a generous card tip. It’s disappointing because I used to really enjoy this place, but lately it feels more focused on upselling than on providing a relaxing experience. I will not be coming back."

"Me and the bestie were searching for a reasonable-clean- spa and massage for our "Funday Friday". We narrowed it down to 2 and Hideaway won. We were running about 10min late but the staff was so patient while my friend caught up. Everything in the place was clean and smelled lovely. The rooms are cozy and YES they have doors! Walls a little thin but you'll still be relaxed. My masseuse was "Daisy" and she checked every 10min or so to make sure the pressure was ok. I chose medium and that was fine. It is a relaxing massage but be prepared for them to "get into it!" Bestie and I really enjoyed our time, we were so relaxed we just sat there for a bit sipping the lime water! Wil definitely go back - for less than $100 you get the same quality as high priced spas!"

"I love this place so much. I've been a regular for years. Tucked away on the 4th floor of a Fidi building; look out for the sign. Extremely high quality massage in tranquil, clean surroundings at an unbeatable price. They also wipe you off after the massage so you're not a sticky mess afterwards. They offer a small cash discount (there's an ATM onsite). If you like a stromg massage, ask for Susan!"
