"This was my first time going and I received a lot of good reviews from my coworkers so I was like okay, perfect! I went here this past Thursday (12/4) to treat myself to a BIRTHDAY set. I loved that I was able to be seated quickly but as soon as I showed him my reference nails - he seemed confused and proceeded to ask more questions which was more than okay. I answered everything and he got started - I was confused when he started to do an acrylic set when I asked for Gel X. I reminded him it was Gel X but he was going so fast at this point he had glued on two extensions, he then proceeded to rip them off and started the Gel X… I was in pain but I was just thinking “rough start but okay” and he just kept going, didn’t even check in. He had my phone prompt up and was looking at the reference picture THE ENTIRE TIME so I was thinking “okay he’s about to eat this up”. I had asked him to not do the bow and the design he did instead was perfect. I also asked for the set to be medium instead of how long it was in the picture. But I KEPT reminding him I wanted the white polish closer to my nail bed and I wanted to ends of the nails to be clear like in the picture. He did the OPPOSITE for some nails which I was annoyed but okay then the white polish came out SLOPPY (he used an airbrush for the white polish and you can see some of the streaks on my nails). Just felt rushed.. I was so sad that it wasn’t originally what I wanted but I did grow to love them DESPITE THE RUSHED JOB - I took a picture of my nails and I was going to leave a nice review because he really did that. Then NOT EVEN TWO DAYS LATER, my right thumb nail breaks CLEAN OFF with almost NO EFFORT. I was so upset because I had no time to get them done before my birthday so instead I had to go the DAY OF. I was STILL going to leave a good review despite the nail breaking. AND I was going to give them ANOTHER CHANCE and get my feet done along with fixing the broken nail. So on 12/8, I went ON MY BIRTHDAY to get my nail fixed and to get my toes done. I go in and I explain what happened and mentioned despite it all - I still wanted a pedicure. He passed me along to his coworker to do my pedicure.. okay I guess. The guy they gave me was cool at first but when I asked him for - square shape, he looked confused. I asked for white gel polish and silver French tip (first time EVER doing French tip so I was excited especially to match my nails). When he was trimming my toes to shape them, he proceeded to trim the ingrown nails on my big toes THAT I DIDN’T ASK FOR. I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN AND I KEPT FLINCHING. At some point I told him to just stop with the trimming. He continued the pedicure and everything else just felt rushed, I was NOT SATISFIED AT ALL - and the end result.. omg he showed me and it took everything in me not to break down and cry right there. WHY IS MY RIGHT BIG TOE SHORTER THAN MY LEFT ONE ?! WHY CANT YOU SEE THE DESIGN ON MY OTHER TOES ?? WHY DO MY FEET HURT ??I just said I liked them and got up. I was so annoyed when it got to the point of fixing my nail, it was someone new and he was very nice. He was able to mimic the design beautifully and I was happy with my nails. He was amazing, he was tipped as well 🫶🏻 It got to the point of me paying and they just asked me to pay for the pedicure which was nice I guess.. but I was just so annoyed (the situation wasn’t even addressed and there wasn’t even an apology).. I just wanted to get out of there. Ended up crying when I got home - happy birthday to me. You’d think I’d be done. My left thumb nail broke with again, almost NO EFFORT THE VERY NEXT DAY.. and my feet hurt so bad - I got cuts on the edges of both my big toes and they hurt when I walk. I still tipped everyone despite what happened.. I’m also suppose to go out this weekend - I’m just so heart broken. I really hate to say this but I DO NOT recommend 👎🏻"

"I had such a great experience here. I let Tom know what I wanted and he turned my vision into a reality. I am sooo happy with my nails. Tom just found a repeat customer!!! They also did my daughter’s nails. This is a child friendly place. I will definitely be back :)"

"Got a recommendation for this spot and was hesitant to go all the way to Harlem from Brooklyn. So glad I did! Peter absolutely smashed this manicure the design is intricate and yet he finished in about 30 minutes. So impressive great job. The manager is running a tight ship and getting people in and out quickly."

"I went to the Harlem nail bar with big expectations, because of all the reviews I’ve heard. When I arrived I was seated quickly, which I will give them. I asked for a simple one color black stilettos nails. I didn’t know that they didn’t do acrylic, only gel x and builder gel. When I asked my nail tech what’s the difference, so couldn’t tell me what it was. Which I should’ve known that was a red flag. I left satisfied, but woke up and my 2 of nail was peeling off. I was very confused because this has never happened to me before. I went back the next day to fix it and they need fix it for me. And then it happened again, idk if it’s the polish but it wasn’t working at all. The 3rd time, I wasn’t going back. It’s ridiculous, I live all the way in Brooklyn and I don’t have time to be travelling back and forth to Harlem."

"Loved my experience at this Harlem nail bar! Tony did my pedicure and he was great — super gentle and took his time. Adam did my birthday nails and they came out sooo pretty, exactly how I asked! Everyone was friendly and the vibe was chill. Definitely coming back 💅"
