"I walked in and Maisie was so welcoming! We talked about my piercings and the jewelry they had while I completed my waiver. I will for sure be back to change my jewelry. Dave was amazing, he came up with the perfect design for one of my favorite TV shows/books. The fact that he too, knew and liked the show I saw his true passion in creating the perfect design and placement for me. This was a tattoo I have wanted for so long and now I finally have it! During my tattoo Dave made sure I was comfortable while he and the another artist Nico kept the conversation going that I felt like I was amongst friends."

"My buddy & I called ahead about walk-in availability for matching-ish tattoos. Caroline at the front desk was awesome from start to finish, and both of us were able to work with artist Jim Gentry who I highly recommend. He drew up a custom design for each of us that fit around our existing ink. Jim's work is quick, clean, and incredibly gentle. I got color and absolutely love it. Healing well. Walk in tattoos were well-priced for great quality! The shop is clean, comfortable, with a rustic feel. While my buddy got tattooed I popped over to The End is Near (sister shop) and Yanna was able to downsize my nostril jewelry. Honestly great trip all around, am already looking forward to working with the shop again."

"Absolutely perfect experience! It had taken me 10 years to feel inspired to get a second tattoo, and my concept was deeply personal. I submitted my art and appointment request through the website, and almost immediately got a response. They matched my art to Logan, whose style is in line with what I had designed. He honored the creativity, emotion, and depth of what I had sent them with such delicacy and artistry…. His friendly and varied conversation, as well as the general relaxed and open aura about the place, only added to the 4-hour experience. Logan is a talented and thoughtful artist, and this place is a neighborhood treasure."

"I’ve been to Hand of Glory three times (so far) to be tattooed by Jim Gentry and I’ve always had an amazing experience. The artistry and care that goes into Jim’s work and everyone at Hand of Glory is top-notch. Everything is clean and sanitary and the staff at the desk are so friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend this shop enough."

"My husband and I have been clients of Will Hunter since he’s worked in Bushwick. Every tattoo we get is amazing! I have gotten two pet portraits so far and he captures my vision every single time! The customer service from every worker is top tier. The front desk staff is incredibly kind and patient. I even got an email the day after my appointment to make sure everything went well; in addition to being checked on periodically during the tattooing process. The chair was comfortable and it was nice that my husband could sit comfortably on a couch as he waited!"
