"I really wish I could write a more positive review, but unfortunately my third time here was the last straw. I had a great experience my first time (regular gel removal & gel manicure), so I visited a couple more times. However, out of my 3 manicures in total, I was cut and started bleeding during 2 of them. After my most recent visit, the cut on my middle finger still has not healed after 3 days, and my left thumb has been in pain and extreme discomfort due to excessive trimming of the skin near the nail. This was also the most pain I’ve felt throughout a nail appointment, which is ridiculous considering a manicure is not supposed to cause visceral pain in the first place. My nail beds and skin were burning from rough filing and buffing and my eyes were watering from pain at various points during the process. The manicure itself is also bumpy and the color is uneven. Although the service was very friendly, I sadly need to say I am terribly disappointed with the outcome and will not be coming back."

"Acrylic fill $65 + $15 french tip +$5 replace one acrylic nail (it was broken)= $88 total with tax. I was super disappointed, I tipped the bill to $98 ($10 tip) but these do not look like $100 nails. The whole service felt rushed and the artwork is not even good and I feel like I got ripped off for paying $100 for these. I simply asked for delicate French tip, red nails. The pictures speak for themselves. The entire service lasted about 30 mins, extremely rushed. Jenny did my nails. Please read the reviews before coming, especially the low star ones. Update: it hasnt even been three days and the gel has lifted on the side"

"I went here for a gel pedicure and I would not recommend this salon. Joy did my pedicure. She was very nice but she did not use clean or sterilized tools. She used old clippers and cuticle tools which is very concerning. That is very unsanitary. Second, my right big toe was cut unevenly. My right big toe was perfectly square before this. Now I will have to wait until it grows out. Third, when she removed my old gel, she drilled wayyyy too much. My toes were starting to look raw from her drilling too much. Additionally, I felt like my pedicure was rushed. Polish application was alright. While the prices here are good, you definitely get what you pay for."

"I'd be very cautious of coming here. My first time was completely AMAZING. I was serviced by Gina and she took her time and was very detailed orientated My nails lasted for 3-4 weeks. However my second time was terrible and my nails are already chipping within 5 days. They had rushed through the entire service & had two techs working on me at once. I wasn't able to enjoy my pedi at all since a tech thought drilling dust and doing acrylic at the pedi chair would be ok. it wasn't at all! my pedi came out sloppy l, i left back to work messy with acrylic dust all over me. i told the tech I'm not enjoying my experience. After this they still had the nerve to charge $107. please avoid Jenny and the older lady that does Pedis. do not let them do both of your services at once! you will leave with sloppy & terrible work."

"The good: True community and professionalism. Manicurists were giving each other advice on how to achieve the requested peach inspiration. Final result is cute and quite close. Very much appreciated the price. Russian Gel $65 + $20 ombré. The could be better: Booked and paid for Russian Gel, but only received light e-file ball. None of the usual cuticle push back or clean cuticle cut back with curved scissors/clippers expected from a Russian gel manicure. I would consider this a regular gel manicure. I did ask if there is going to be Russian cuticle work later and it was explained that this service was already provided with the light e-file ball. If you’re expecting a true Russian gel manicure, this is not the place. Rubber base application was as other people noted, a tad on the bumpy side. There was slight over-filing on a few nails and little to no apex was built so quite a few of my nails lay completely flat. And since there was no cuticle push back or cut back, my cuticle area is notably dry and uneven. Final takeaways: All and all, I still enjoyed my experience at Golden House Nail Spa. If this was advertised as a regular gel manicure, I would have given a 3-4 star review instead. It’s just not the Russian gel nails I booked."
