"I’ve been getting haircuts at this place for years and always had a great experience—until today. Unfortunately, I had my first bad haircut here. The new stylist didn’t even look at the reference photo I showed and proceeded as if he already knew what I wanted. I had asked for a fade buzz cut, but what I received was uneven, oddly shaped, bumpy, and with stray hairs left behind. Even after I asked for adjustments, he dismissed my concerns and insisted the haircut was fine. I’m very disappointed because the other stylists I’ve had here were excellent. This seems to be an issue with one stylist rather than the entire barbershop, but after today’s experience, I won’t be coming back."

"Good haircut, most unprofessional barber I’ve ever had. My hair looks good, and it’s a fair price for a haircut, especially in that area. But the barber was randomly telling me very crude jokes and swearing and saying he didn’t like coming to work, which made for an unpleasant experience."

"TLDR: Great shop, friendly staff, and fantastic price for the area ($20 for students, $27 regular). Definitely going back, and would definitely reccomend. Just stopped in after a day of classes to get a much needed cut (shaved sides and 3-5'' scissors on top). The shop was empty when I walked in, and I was welcomed and served immediately. Told him what I wanted and he went at it, having me check throughout the process to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. He even offered me and the other client waiting a beer/shot (included in the price of the cut) which is always nice. We engaged in small talk and he finished up with a hot foam shave. Overall this was a great find in the Clinton Hill / Fort Green area and you CANT beat the PRICE! Especially for students! Many other shops charge 35-55 for essentially the same cut. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a great barber experience!"
