"Went to see Danko a week or so ago and have to say this is the best hair cut I have gotten in Astoria and possibly my life. I hopped around stylists in Astoria for the past couple years and really struggled to find someone since moving here. Danko has vision, talent, and clearly knows hair. For reference, I have long wavy curly, red hair, and curtain bangs. He had a consultation with me right before he cut my hair, where he actually looked and assessed it, which seems to be a rare experience around NYC. I told him what I liked, he just understood the vibe, and then gave me suggestions to make it even better. Danko used different techniques, instead of just hacking at my hair (sadly been the norm since moving to NYC). The bangs were the best bangs cut I've ever had and he clearly knew how to cut bangs (also rare im noticing). Then, the blow out was amazing. I got compliments all day long. Lastly, the prices are so fair and affordable. I would actually pay more than double for this haircut and experience. 100/10 will be back."

"Got genuinely the best haircut of my life from Luca a few months back and it’s grown so beautifully I can’t wait to go back. I have a very unique hair texture and have had such a hard time finding someone who can layer it without making it look choppy, and he absolutely nailed it. Now I only trust him for my cuts. I do wish the pricing was a bit more clear though, I was confident my hair was medium length and was charged for a long length cut - it’s not a total dealbreaker since the price difference isn’t that crazy, but I wish there had been more explanation when the change was made. Otherwise a lovely salon experience and I’ll definitely be returning to Luca!"

"Contura- Danko is the Boss! I travel from NC state to have my haircut by Danko. Fine styling extraordinaire with the best coffee on offer as a bonus. He sees your hair and floats through it like a formula 1 driver going through an S bend. If he doesn’t style your hair yet … you have not had your hair styled period. Been modeling 25 years , met many great stylists. This man is the cream of the crop. Amazing! Friendly , down to earth - genius with hair of all types. As long as I can get to him I will be coming back! The aveda hair products are also great. The ylang ylang or mint ones are my personal favorite. Thank you again for a top cut sir. Back from NC just for this cut! As always blown away! Cant wait to see your team again!"

"Would give 6 stars if possible! They're great! Ok, we need to talk about the best hairstylist in NYC ❤️ Luca Tessadrelli!! Luca is definitely my go to hairstylist/colorist in the city for now on! I like to dye my hair blonde but I have VERY thick and dark hair and it's very hard to manage, but Luca did it so perfectly, that not only was my hair color perfect, but is still strong and full of life. I've been getting compliments as a result of his work. highly recommend him!! The environment: I can't speak highly enough of this salon. I've finally found my favorite spot when it comes to haircutting and coloring The place is stunning, the owners and staff are amazing!! I have never been to a place where I felt so welcome. Everyone is so kind and professional, I'm so glad I finally found this place. Bonus tip: They have the best Cappuccino in the area!! :)"
