"Saved my coat during Thanksgiving week. I gave it to them hoping they would clean off some nasty stuff, realised I had mixed up my flight times. I called to make sure they manage in 2-3 days and they did, as promised! Quality work too, and at a very good price."

"I dropped off a jacket here and was verbally quoted an estimate of $16. To ensure clarity, I repeated the amount and confirmed, 'One-six?' which was affirmed by the staff. When I returned to pick up my jacket, I was charged $60—an amount typically associated with cleaning a parka. My jacket was NOT a parka. This experience feels deceptive and misleading. I strongly advise against trusting this business. I have reported them to the city and the Better Business Bureau to address these practices."

"Drop your dry cleaning and laundry here with confidence! I can't recommend Amsterdam Cleaners highly enough. Penny knows us, has always been so kind and they delivery clean, freshly pressed garments and linens on a quick turnaround, and at fair prices. They're excellent! I've tried many places -- they're the best on the upper west side."

"I personally haven't had any problems with this place and I've been using their services for years despite the dozens of wash and folds in the area. They are most affordable and have been super courteous. Update... not only has this establishment been washing my clothes for years at a reasonable price, I recently had to bring clothes I'd usually opt to do personally on top of the multiple loads I had already given them. Not only did they allow me to request that they use a specific detergent, and carefully returned it upon delivery, they brought my clothes back before the estimated delivery date during the holiday. Considering the amounts I brought in plus my instructions plus the traffic they had coming in that day, plus the super courteous staff they deserve more than 5 stars."

"I've been going here for more than a year but no longer. Price and wash quality have been average and it's the most convenient cleaners for me. However, they have been consistently closing early (30 minutes or more before their posted times). I have to leave work early to make it there before they close, so it's especially frustrating when I get there with plenty of time to spare and they've already locked up. Just change your hours if you don't want to follow them!"
