"Your determination is what gets you far. When I came to American Beauty School, I came focused. I didn’t let distractions lead me, and I didn’t give up on myself—no matter what. Whether the teachers were teachable or not, I already knew I was going to graduate on time and get my license right after. I made that promise to myself, and I kept it. I focused. I stayed consistent. I graduated. And about six weeks later, I officially became a licensed professional cosmetologist. As far as the staff and instructors—I want to give a genuine thank you. In all honesty, everyone was really kind to me, and I’m grateful for that. Like any school, there are things that could be improved. No place is perfect—every school has its ups and downs. But overall, I had a good experience. I want to give a special thank you to Ms. Tina. Thank you for your patience and your kindness. You were precise, knowledgeable, and clear—especially in the online learning portion. I truly learned a lot from your teaching. I appreciate you. Another shoutout goes to Ms. Q. Thank you for your laughter, your lessons, and your support. Thank you for believing in me and for the encouragement you gave throughout the journey. Your energy made the experience better, and I’m truly thankful. Lastly, I want to thank Ms. Azzaris, who was also very kind and helpful to me. I leave this review with gratitude for the entire experience. We all grow, we all learn, and I hope the school continues to improve for future students. But as for me—I did it, and I’m proud. "The experience I had on was nothing like Aug 25,25. Was Great staff was busy with there client's working Am to Pm To corn crows to wash in set, fingerwaves, blow outs, tight curls to colors everything you name it..💇🏽‍♀️👍🏾 I couldn't believe it the instructors( Ms Anna Ms Rosa) was on task respectful helpful and mindful she made me feel very comfortable along with the other clients even well as knowing just what hair styles we all wanted right away, oh for sure i couldn't believe it chosen one is what i called her just brilliant.Thank You Again. "I arrived to The American Beauty School before 10am. Once I walked in, I immediately went to the front counter where a lady with informed me that I had to sit out down and wait. I sat down and waited along with three other customers. The lady at the front desk continuously informed me that there’s one person ahead of me. My mother arrived at the American Beauty School which the lady informed my mother that there was only one person ahead of me, my mother said no problem. After waiting over two and half hours, the lady at the front desk informed us that I couldn’t get my hair done and that she tried her best. I then stated that I had waited for two and half hours and my time was wasted. The lady at the counter then claimed that she told me to wait and see which never happened. She then proved to stay go to a hair salon or come back on Monday. I stated that wouldn’t work because I have work on Monday. The lady at the front counter was extremely rude and did not once apologize for the inconvenience. I will no longer be a customer of this beauty school location and will inform my colleagues, family, and friends to beware of this location due to the horrible customer service I received on Saturday October 4,2025: The fact that I was told to wait in which I did and was turned away after waiting two and half hours is horrible reflection of this location."

"I am so grateful for Ms.Tina and everything she has done for me throughout my aesthetics program and in her senior clinic class. She is one of the most thoughtful, patient, and kind teachers I have ever met. Ms.Tina is truly dedicated to her job and it shows in how much she loves teaching and supporting her students. She always took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and encourage me whenever I felt unsure. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to helping us grow made such a difference in my experience. Because of her encouragement and guidance, I was able to stay motivated and reach my goal of graduating. I truly appreciate the way she cares for her students and how invested she is in our success. Thank you, Ms.Tina, for being such an amazing teacher and mentor I couldn’t have done it without you! And to the staff, thank you for always being there when I needed a question answered and thank you for always being very supportive and guiding us and welcoming us every morning. "I am a current student of Abs and I can say that this school has its up and downs but the teachers and opportunities over take all the bad. I’ve had an overall good experience. The teachers are wonderful and push you to do more than you usually would. Special shoutout to ms ana, ms Tina, and ms q for their Dedication. I’ve Learned so much from them all but especially ms Ana. They really care about their students and their success. I can say that I came in this school scared but came out confident and with a new positive outlook. And the students were amazing, they showed me a lot as well and were a big help."
