"Pleading, begging. If you have any sort of special occasion and expectation to have your stuff back in a certain amount of time. Just don’t walk through these doors. I dropped off my wedding outfits and was told to come back in 2 weeks. They have a policy where you need to call before you come pick up - now it makes so much sense why that policy is in place. I called and texted on the day of my pickup and was ghosted. I showed up finally two days after my pickup up date after not being able to get a response from them and my stuff was hanging up where I left it two weeks ago. The tailor swore up and down if I came back at closing he’d have it ready. Came back and nothing was done. I gave him yet another chance (stupid me) and told him I’ll come back in 3 days. Still didn’t have it done. And I leave for my wedding in 5 days. I have never been so stressed and so upset. I finally got my stuff and when I go to pick it up he says “can I do the shirt another time?” So he just fully didn’t do one item because he didn’t have the talent for it. This place wasted my time, my money because I have to go take the shirt to be done elsewhere on a rush job, and my sanity. Please avoid at all costs. Update: tried my dress on when I got to my wedding destination and it’s not even taken in in all of the areas we marked up. So my item just went on a little vacation to this horrific business for nearly 20 days - and I had to pay them $200 for it LOL."

"Professional and so nice. No matter if you bring them Zara or Prada, they will treat everything you bring them in the same considerate way. They take pride in doing a great job, and will make helpful suggestions that you didn't even initially consider, to make your clothes fit 100%."

"The best, have been going here for almost a decade. The integrity of the owner, tailors, and seamstresses there is unmatched. I will be going for years to come."

"My go to tailor shop, and I don’t even live in Manhattan. They expertly execute simple and complex projects. For example, they were able to line a transparent wool and silk dress with multiple cutouts, panel by panel, so it is now opaque. Reasonable prices for quality work. Just remember to call BEFORE you come to pick up your item!"

"This is my first review ever. I truly believe everyone should get their second shot to be fair. They are the most dishonest manipulative business owners that I encountered in Manhattan. First got their address from Boglioli sorte at Lafayette. I asked how much a pants waist adjustment costs son of the owner said $35 then the next day dad charges me $40 and he promised to get it done in two weeks. Went back in two weeks 2 pants down still one more to go. Gave him a couple of shirts for clean up. He said it’d be ready on Wednesday, went back again not ready he was working on it. I was mad but didn't say anything and gave them 3 more days. His son went back and brought a pair of jeans that weren't mine. Then the older guy found it under the pill of clothes. And he started the alterations. He must’ve put my pants down as soon as walked out of the store. They’ve lost my business for sure and I had a lot to go back. now I’ll have to hunt a good reliable tailor. Oh did I mention they ruined my $240 pair of jeans!"
