"Really loved my stay here. I took the L every day from here, no problem getting into the city. Everyone was so kind working the 24/7 concierge and every time I called the front desk for something, service was prompt and helpful. The room is a great size and loved the kitchenette - large mini fridge and good microwave, counter and cupboard space. Great bathroom with easy to work shower. Endearing and quirky decor!"

"I stayed here for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. The service was excellent — everyone was incredibly kind and attentive at all times. The location is great, with several subway stations very close by. It’s perfect for solo travelers; I felt safe walking around at night. They have a terrace with a spectacular view. The room I stayed in was small, but it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again."

"Traveling on business with 7 colleagues at Christmas time. Forced to look outside Manhattan do to inflated Holiday hotel room costs. One colleague had stayed at The Penny previously so we booked our group at a much lower than Manhattan price. Everyone of our team said they would prefer to return here to a more neighborly environment. We found it very easy to navigate into Manhattan for our client and prospect meetings. We will be back."

"We arrived to the Penny Williamsburg for the first time with ease. Great location. Staff was cordial and efficient. We were surprised there is no Gym. The rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you need except tissue paper, water bottles, paper napkins & slippers (specially in winter with no carpet) They have a ¿Destination Fee? of $ 34 that includes two tiny bottles of ground coffee, two paper filters and three oranges. No bottled water!!! This is a boutique hotel with fancy elements. Why can’t you include water bottles, paper napkins and tissue paper?"

"Loved my stay at The Penny. My room was quiet and clean, with a nice little kitchenette for coffee (they provide) and snacks. The location is great. A few minute walk to the L or G trains. Loved seeing people with their dogs in the hotel. The housekeeping and front desk staff is friendly and responsive. They don't sweat the small stuff. (The snacks at the front desk, however, are unreasonably expensive, welcome to NYC.) Highly recommended."
