"I realized I never wrote my review for The Nines, so here it is. To be honest, the experience wasn’t what I expected. Instagram had set the bar extremely high with the red, seductive, moody aesthetic everywhere online, I thought I was walking into something unforgettable. But in reality, everything felt much more ordinary. I ordered a lobster salad and a glass of wine. The salad was tasty, and the wine was fine, but for me, the vibe matters more than the flavor and that’s where The Nines fell short. • The bartender was noticeably uninterested and low energy, which felt strange for a place where guests are paying good money. • There was a coldness in the atmosphere, like you’re supposed to meet some unspoken expectation just by being there. • And honestly, the restroom was the worst part unappealing and completely out of sync with the image this place tries to present. For me, The Nines ended up being exactly what Instagram does best: beautiful in photos, average in reality. If you’re going for a unique vibe or a memorable atmosphere, this might not be the place. But if you just want a decent drink and a simple bite, it’s fine just not the “wow” experience the internet makes it seem."

"What a lovely piano bar. Went here in fall of 2024. The amosphere is dark and moody and I loved all the red. Daniel, the piano player that night was amazing. He took a request for an obscure David Bowie song and played it so well. The food was enjoyable and the manager was so accomodating as we didn't have reservations and he moved things around to get us a nice place to sit. I think its a great place to take people visiting from out of town."

"Amazing atmosphere, cozy, classy, and full of good vibes! The live band was absolutely fantastic, and the singer was just extraordinary. It’s pure joy, exactly what you want from a restaurant where a music band plays while you’re dining. Service was excellent, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. A special mention to one of the managers, Sarah, she was wonderful. If you’re looking to spend a great evening with friends, family, or your partner while enjoying tasty American food and great live music, this is definitely the place to go. I’d recommend booking one of the side booth tables with the little couches — they’re just perfect to relax and enjoy the night."
