"Was in Brooklyn on a short vacation. Staying in Dumbo and reached out to BASE to see if they could fit me in. Baris responded quickly and made time to work with me on my design. Great shop with beautiful views of the lower Eastside and the Williamsburg bridge to watch as I got inked. Baris was quick, friendly, and the piece was exactly what I wanted to commemorate the moment. I love it when artists save the conversation for before and after the session. Really appreciated Baris being focused and diligent, as time was limited for me. Total pros, honest, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend BASE NYC!"

"I have now gotten three tattoos from the Base NYC and I have absolutely loved every experience. Baris is amazing at what he does and every tattoo he designs for me has a special place in my heart. Not only does he come up with beautiful designs, but he also patently works with me to make edits until the design is perfect. The atmosphere of the shop is relaxed, friendly, and clean. I would recommend any artist at The Base but definitely seek out Baris if you’re looking for some beautiful watercolor work."
