"I think they forgot my burger on the grill cus I get charred but there was just a CHUNK of like char and my burger buns and sautéed onions were cold. Im sure it would've been better if it wasn't cold with a slightly warm patty. Like how is it like completely burnt on the outside but still pink on the inside? Maybe they just dont clean their grills and I got a chunk of that. The service was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't like the best thing ever. The atmosphere is definitely the best thing about this place, I really like the dim lighting and the nice tavern look. I'd only ever go here for the drinks and a basket of fries. (!!)"

"We were looking for food at midnight and was able to get burgers within 20 minutes. My wife get hers a little raw but turned it back in it came back fast, 7 minutes! Very delicious!!!"

"Tavern on Jane in the West Village is a charming spot with an inviting tavern vibe. It’s the perfect spot to stop by for a beer or a glass of wine. The atmosphere, complete with a large counter and lively diners, is its standout feature. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the warm environment. I had the buffalo burger, which was cooked medium-rare to perfection—nice although lacking a hint of salt in my opinion and then, for my sweet tooth craving, I went for a dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream which was delish! The food is okay only not extremely memorable. Overall, it’s a great place to soak in the ambiance and enjoy good company."

"This is our second visit, we immediately recognized our previous staff that facilitated our experience. We knew the food was good, the location was prime with too much people watching 🤣, no really it was so nice withe shade trees and blocked off street. Ask for Michael, she was awesome."
