"They pour a proper pint. The decor and atmosphere are as authentic as it comes for both greater NYC metro and Ireland. The food is good but not spectacular. Consider, however that I've only tasted 2 entrees so... Not a representative sample. Would I come back? Absolutely!"

"This is my 3rd time eating here, but my husband eats here frequently and the service from Kevin is exceptional. Always in high spirit and attention to detail is excellent. I love the way he communicates with customers. The food is fantastic. We ordered the mild wings, bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Will be back for sure."

"Absolutely loved McGoverns Tavern. Stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful. Food was brilliant, beers were great, and the service was even better. We had a server named Kevin and he was awesome. On top of things, making sure we were good the entire time we were there. Can’t recommend the place enough. I had the spicy Bloody Mary and the classic burger. Very delicious."
