"I went to a concert and paid $250 for a bottle of rum. My surprise was at the end, when I received the check that was around $330, and as I reviewed the ticket, I noticed that the tip was a total of $50. I talked to the waitress about it and told her that I was fine with paying around $20 in tip. He told me that wasn’t enough and that the tip was not negotiable. As if it was my obligation to pay him that amount and not something that you decide based on the service."

"I felt like it was very irresponsible for La boom to use a broken rope to separate general from VIP . Its for sure a liability, just be wary if you get VIP and coming into the bar area in General (if anything thats an opportunity to sue them, if you end up tripping) Besides that it was hard to obtain the bartenders attention. Come prepare with patient and all your senses on point to protect yourself from getting hurt here. Also a tip for whoever is reading this - it’s easy to go from general to vip from the bar side. Its my second time here (this also happened the first time I was here) where the entire right side of vip walked in slowly one by one and sat down to buy a beer- the staff was okay taking the orders. It could save you money, no need to buy vip section when you can just get in general and go through the bar side into the vip where you can purchase just beer no need for liquor to be bought. Just a tip for whoever reads this ☺️. (Included photos as proof)"

"The VIP section at La Boom definitely delivers on energy and vibe. Bottle service was smooth and the staff was attentive — made the whole night feel more exclusive and well taken care of. The crowd was lively, music was on point, and the VIP area gave us space to enjoy it all without being overcrowded. Only downside was the pricing — it’s on the higher end, but that’s expected for a NYC club. Still, if you’re going with a group and want a more elevated experience, it’s worth it. Great for birthdays or a night out when you’re looking to go all out."

"Attended an event, they over sold VIP tickets, and there were no benefit, just a waste of money. It was so bad that we spent over $100 and couldn't even see the headliner... my girl was extremely disappointed and for a good reason. I wouldn't suggest this place to see any of your favorite artists. Update: We had stage tickets, but after we figured it out, they said we had to pay for a table and bottle to actually get the stage benefits... however, we would be sitting on the side because they no longer had tables ..."
