"The hours of operation are not real. They "close" 30 minutes before the reported hours of operation but this is not clear anywhere. On a Sunday (closing time 12 AM) they don't even let people get on the elevator to visit the place. We arrived at 11:22PM and the elevator was stuck on 38, there was nobody downstairs to explain anything and it only came down after we complained at the front desk via radio. When the elevator opened it was the "manager" saying we can't go up (it as 11:31PM) at this time. We asked for an exception, we just wanted to check out the place, maybe have one drink. No apologies, no exceptions, didn't care we waited for almost 10 minutes downstairs. I will never come back. I tried complaining at the reception but the staff was not helpful and one of them was more interested in watching the NFL game on his cellphone. No attempt from the on-duty hotel manager do deescalate or try to find an alternative."

"A decent rooftop for afterwork drinks and some view of the west side. Not crowded and nice waiters attitude. My prosecco was actually good unlike in many nyc rooftop bars. The music is not too loud and allows comfortable talk. There is also plenty of room inside.. the seats are comfy."

"I used OpenTable to make a reservation at Interlude for our last night in our hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary and I asked in the notes if we could be seated with a view of the city. There were plenty of time slots available when I made my reservation. We waited for a very long time in the hotel lobby to get the elevator up to the roof--I think instructions on how to reach the restaurant would've been helpful, but I also noted when preparing for our visit that Interlude's social media and menus hadn't been updated since the end of December 2024. That, coupled with some not-great reviews and high prices for drinks/snacks, made me a little leery, but we went ahead and kept our reservations. When we arrived, we were seated on an outdoor couch with a low coffee table in front of us. It wasn't comfortable and we couldn't see the city lights very well, so we asked to be moved to one of the vacant high-top tables. Our server was kind but it seemed to take a while for him to get an answer. We were finally moved to a high-top table and the view was wonderful. Our drinks came and then the fire alarm went off. It was loud with bright, flashing lights. The noise ended fairly quickly, but the manager never came and checked in with people to tell us if we needed to leave on the one elevator down. The safety lights kept flashing the entire time we were there. Because I'm photosensitive and prone to migraines, I was uncomfortable. We asked for our check, paid for our drinks, and left. We went down the street to Connolly's for dinner. We eat out frequently and this is the worst experience we've had in years and years. I wish I could recommend Interlude, but I simply can't."

"Fabulous! Luxury in the middle of the beautiful chaos that is Times Square. I felt like I was in an oasis. The glow of the moon, the views of midtown, the drinks and service and the exclusivity on the balcony nooks! Yes yes yes! What a sudden jam. We will be returning again and again and again."

"Half of the outside area was closed due to the cold weather. We were staying at the Hampton Inn on property and wanted to check it out. We stopped in for a drink and checked out the view which was nice. Typical rooftop lounge and nothing special to set it apart. Would have been great if there was heat outside."
