"Have lived in the East Village for a long while and eaten here more than 20 times. My favorite Chicken Mole $25 was dried out and hard to cut into, though the sauce was great. My friend’s Chicken Enchiladas $19 were literally strung out dried and served cold. Sent them back and the new ones weren’t much better. (And didn’t get anything taken off the bill for sending cold food back.. !) Such a disappointment. What happened to this place we used to like so much ?! The cooks don’t care anymore ? Just slap food on a plate. The only saving grace was the lovely waitress. Avoid this place. Go to Yuca on Ave A & 7th instead. The food is fresh. Tonight at El Camion it felt like we were served unloved leftovers."

"Yelp's platform connected me with my new favorite place. The mood lifts your spirits and the staff responds quickly. Be sure to try what made this place popular. The employees combine warmth with support. This spot deserves to remain open."

"Overall, the food felt overpriced and the portions weren’t very big as you can see from the chimichanga plate I ordered. The restaurant is small with tight spaces but it was clean and service was timely. For the price paid for food, portions should be bigger and have better flavors."

"Food and drinks were both 10/10. I love spicy, so I had the spicy marg called “Hey Beeyatch” (so good), and my partner had the Pinaloca, both great. We had the tacos and fajitas, and everything tasted premium. Only thing we’d mention (totally on us, not the restaurant) is that we didn’t realize a 20% auto-grat was already included. When the payment screen popped up, the tip options were 2–7%, so I thought they were just being super humble and added another 20%—ended up tipping 40% without realizing until after. Just a heads up to double-check before you pay!"

"I had this place saved on my list for a little bit, so I was excited to finally try it once I was in the area. We got the steak tacos to start and I was really happy with the quality of the steak. They gave nice long juicy pieces which was a pleasant surprise. I got the fish tacos, which I thought were pretty good, but missing something. My friend got the burrito which seemed like it was missing the “wrap” part. My other friend got the salmon tacos, and they were disappointing and dry. Margaritas were very sugary."
