"I ordered a molcajete for $48 and asked for it without pork, and that was the bare minimum. My husband asked for more and dirt, and they gave us a cold churrasco. Don't waste your money, it's the worst food in the area. You're better off eating at a deli. I was vomiting in the early hours of the morning, be very careful. It would be good if this restaurant were reported to the health department."

"My wife and I just had a baby and was not getting out much, was to disappointed in New York to hang out there so my compass pointed to Jersey. The drive there was beautiful with unlimited views of the New York City skyline. Upon arrival we missed the entrance because there was no indications of an entrance to the parking lot so we end up pulling into the gas station next-door, which was a bit dangerous because cars were coming fast behind us and we were trying to figure out somewhere to pull in. had we not made a sharp turn into the gas station we would have missed the parking lot and the opportunity to pull into the gas station which would have only led us to drive around the whole highway and pay toll to go around and come back for no reason need a remind you the road going to Cantina 46 did not have traffic, but if we had missed our turn the traffic to come back around was at a standstill. we arrived here on a Sunday afternoon around 6-7 in November so it was pretty dark thank God we did not hit any curbs pulling in or we would’ve been faced with a flat tire and starving tummies thank God, the lot of land between the gas station next-door and canteen 46 was not divided so we were able to drive through the parking lot of the gas station to get to the restaurant. We were immediate greeted by a gentleman in a black jacket that told us the only way for us to park was to valet the vehicle. which made zero sense to me because their parking lot is not that big there must’ve been only 10 cars in the parking lot that day with majority of that being the people that work there who decided to park in the front, after further investigating with the gentleman why is there only options to valet parking he then responded with “just park there “so we park the vehicle ourselves I understand on a Saturday night when the place is super busy and there’s no parking to be found. Then Valet parking would be the best option but need i reminder you this is Sunday the place was dead . We were able to park a few feet away from the entrance upon walking inside, the place was beautiful The music not so much. It did not match the aesthetics of the place. The decorations were giving a very upbeat vibe and they were playing traditional Mexican music that did not match the vibe my idea of seeing this place on Google was that they had great music that would make you want to drink obviously not. There was no DJ no performances by any band when we ask when were their performances we were told that it was only on Friday to Closing and Saturday night we were immediately seated. Our orders were taken, and then we went to the bathroom to wash our hands before indulging in drinks and food. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. I ordered the rack of lamb with the Spanish rice and my wife had steak peppers and onions on the stick with plantains, the food was very disappointing and had no flavor. I did not complain. I thought to myself maybe it was just me. Maybe this is not my cup of tea, maybe other people enjoy it. It just wasn’t for me. I asked my wife and she replied with the same answer as I did. the food was tasteless except for the rice The water that were giving complementary at the table, tasted funny along with the ginger ale that I ordered. my wife ordered a few drinks that she loved, which made me very happy. I ordered a tower of patron drinks of four, which was not on the menu. I looked over to someone’s table and inquired about it only to find out it was not on the menu but was a better option for ordering drinks Which was $60 for four patron drinks. the waiter service was amazing and made sure to stop by frequently to make sure that we were met with five star service I wanted to order the tomahawk steak, but then my waiter told us that all the Tomahawks and ribeyes were sold out the night before. I did a fair amount of researching before visiting this place, which led me to believe that everything was five star would like visit this place. If I got a free pass, I wouldn’t even give it away."

"Last night, I had the chance to visit this restaurant with my friend to celebrate her birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and perfect for an evening out. Our server, Abraham, and the rest of the staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it was okay but definitely could use some improvement in flavor. My friend ordered the grilled chicken with butter mashed potatoes, while I had the fried red snapper with Mexican rice. The rice was delicious and perfectly seasoned, but unfortunately, her chicken was tough and difficult to eat. My fish had potential, but it lacked seasoning—some sofrito or Sazón would’ve really brought it to life. One thing I will say is that the restaurant is a great spot for pictures; the presentation and ambiance are beautiful. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service and atmosphere, but the food could use a little more attention. Once they improve their seasoning, I’d be more than happy to return and give it another try."

"I had such an amazing time at Cantina 46! Abraham was incredible – super attentive and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the tomahawk and it was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. To top it off, I tried the margarita flight, and every flavor was spot on – refreshing, balanced, and so good. Between the food, drinks, and service, everything exceeded my expectations. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!"
