"BPH has the best FOS in NYC. Legitimately best French onion soup in the city. I wish to be bathed in it."

"We came for the free pumpkin carving event 10/21 and had SO much fun! 🎃 Thank you Brooklyn Public House for hosting such a festive and community-oriented event. I think offering a spread of free pumpkins and carving tools for anyone who wants to participate and cash prizes for winners is just so generous, not to mention the staff who had to be down with serving a bunch of pumpkin gut-covered patrons and be continuously cleaning up all the gunk all night but were in great spirits and having fun. Food-wise, the veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had, the shepherd’s pie was delicious, and my friend who got the French onion soup said it was way better than at a nearby fancy French restaurant that charged way more. We will be back!!"

"Love the energy and vibe at this bar! Great place to watch a game with friends, the staff is accommodating and cares about your experience. Fries are SO good. My friends loved their cocktails especially the painkiller. Highly recommend to hang out there on a rainy day (:"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Brooklyn Public House – Fort Greene Skip the burgers. Skip the fries. Go straight for the bangers and mash, real-deal sausages (from Myers of Keswick if you’ve got a palate) on creamy mash with light, flavorful gravy. Comfort food that knows what it’s doing. I added a double whiskey hot toddy, warm, balanced, and nowhere near too strong (despite the warning from my lovely server, Celine). She was outstanding, fast, intuitive, and dog-friendly to the core. My dogs got water before I even asked. Outdoor seating is cozy, the pub’s clearly got Irish bones, and every bite was better than the last. 🍽️ What to order: Bangers & Mash 🍹 What to drink: Hot Toddy (double it) 🐶 Dogs? Very welcome. 📍 Pro tip: Come for the Irish classics, not the American basics."

"Stopped here for lunch during Christmas and New Year’s. It was really busy but we were able to find 2 seats at the bar. There was only one member of staff working but she did a great job of serving so many people. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken club and a side of curry sauce. The food was delivered pretty quickly and everything tasted good. The curry sauce was slightly sweeter/fruitier than we are used to but it wasn’t a bad version of UK curry sauce. There were a couple of football (soccer) games on and the bar was really buzzing on a Monday afternoon. A really fun spot to watch some sport and have some good pub food. We live locally and will definitely visit again."
