"The world class blue note opened in 1981 in this famous Greenwich village neighborhood. World class locations in Hawaii, California, japan,Brazil, Italy, and China. It boasts its own record label called half note records beginning in 2001. My wife and I have been here a few times . One was a family event in the afternoon. When I first walked down those stairs I could almost feel the historic magic that filled this place over the years. The second time I remember attending a Macy gray concert. We were all jammed into this tight space but no one mind. We shared a table with a same sex married couple and two female friends and had a wonderful time. The food was good and the drinks kept us happy. And Macy did not disappoint! She was amazing."

"If you want to enjoy a good jazz show definitely purchase the tickets for the tables but try to get there early like 1 hour before the show so you can eat and get the best seats for the show. It gets crowded but all the servers move fast. The tables are shared, so keep it in mind. The drinks were really good! The food was just ok. The live music was awesome. And by the end of the show everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves."

"I went to Blue Note with four friends to see a jazz band, and the performance was incredible — a true New York jazz experience. I had booked bar seats because I knew they were the more affordable option. My friends entered a bit earlier, and the waiter seated them at a table, saying it was better than the bar. When I arrived, we were told we could keep the table for an extra $20 per person, plus a $25 minimum. The view was great, but the extra charge felt unexpected. The drinks were excellent, and the music was outstanding. The only downside was that the room was quite cold — we kept our jackets on during the show. Overall, a memorable night with fantastic music, but a few details could be improved."

"Rumor said it was over priced and over rated. I experienced NONE of that. Had a fantastic evening with The Soul Rebels & Friends Holiday Throwdown!! Wow, what energy! They got the whole place dancing! Food was also good and served quickly and flawlessly. Highly recommend to spend small evening!"

"Finally visited Blue Note and it felt like a lifetime achievement. It’s always meaningful visiting a jazz club with a historical relevance. Given it’s a jazz club, the space was compact. The drinks were better than expected and I would recommend the Tokyo Twist. The ticket instructions indicated the door opens at 6, but they didn’t seat us until 6:30, which was a bit strange. Regardless, it feels amazing seeing one of your favorite artists in a place none other than Blue Note. Overall, it was a memorable experience."
