"I came across this place while on my menstrual cycle, looking for a natural way to ease the discomfort — and I’m so glad I did. This place is a hidden gem for true chocolate lovers. What makes it stand out is that they roast their own cacao beans — nothing processed, nothing artificial. Just pure, natural chocolate the way it’s meant to be. You can truly taste the difference. It’s rich, clean, and surprisingly gentle on the stomach. Constantine (the owner) was incredibly kind and took the time to walk me through the entire process. You can tell he’s a real chocolate enthusiast — passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to his craft. He doesn’t just make chocolate; he lives it. If you’re looking for a chocolate experience that’s both delicious and authentic, this is the place. Highly recommended!"

"I passed by yesterday with my husband and sister, I honestly had no idea where we were going. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner. He educated us on how the chocolate is manufactured and kept in its purest form. We learned of all the health benefits and about how soluble the sugar within the chocolate is. Everyone was so warm and personable. We had some good laughs and truly enjoyed ourselves. My sister grabbed the Nutmeg chocolate, my husband took the plain almomd, and I took the plan Tanzanian Chocolate. This morning we each took a piece. Quite the experience!!! My husband watched himself in a mirror as he consumed this pure delicious chocolate. His eyes literally dialted and were jumping! Such rich satisfaction. We all recommend for you to try it. Such an experience. No nasty additives that America stuffs in our foods, just pure chocolate and happiness! The amount of work that goes into creating their luxurious chocolate is more work than most people can handle. 2 days to hand create this, the quality and work match the price of the chocolate. I'm always astounded when people make something themselves and preserve such indigenous methods. Society today is to babied and catered to and lacks such work ethic. I truly appreciate that Angel who does this with her bare hands! I appreciate the owner as well for his charismatic ways and phenomenal story telling. I can imagine what its like to spend the holidays with him and hearing awesome stories."

"A neighborhood secret and some of the best chocolate we've ever had... I stop by this shop regularly for gifts; my partner is German, and she and her family are no strangers to world-class chocolate - German, Austrian, Swiss, French etcetera. The handmade chocolates from this shop still stand apart and are *always* a hit with them. Highly recommend."

"Stumbled upon this place while driving home because I saw a sign that said "stomach chocolate" and was intrigued. I've been having a lot of stomach issues lately and was open to something new. The owner Constantine was very friendly and so knowledgeable and you can tell everything is made with care. Ruby (perhaps his wife) explained how she hand roasts and shells the cocoa beans herself in small batches. The chocolate was delicious and I ate it the way Constantie instructed so that my stomach would be soothed rather than aggravated by the chocolate. Very lovely people and great chocolate."

"Excellent shop with some top tier chocolates made with much care and consideration. Constantine is a great source of conversation and knowledge. My only complaint is that he refuses to host a concert series in his shop which would only serve to strengthen the Ridgewood community music scene and bring awareness to his incredible craftsmanship and chocolate."
