"Great French bakery in Park Slope. Our favorites were the ciabatta caprese sandwich and the Royal dessert. The sandwich was made that much better with caprese bread that had olives in it (which I love) and worked great with smoked Mozzarella cheese, pesto and tomato. We had both, the Mille-feuille and Royal cakes. While the Mille-feuille was very good (with caramelized layers of puff pastry and a rich pastry cream), the Royal was simply divine. The chocolate mousse was light and creamy sitting on top of yet more dark chocolate and a crunchy layer of praline."
