"Poor customer service at the front. I walked in and waited in line to place my order. When it was finally my turn after waiting, the girl with the green apron came to the front and asked, “Who’s next?” Naturally, I assumed it was me. At that moment, another woman walked in through the door, cut in front of me, and tried to order before I did. I stated that I had already been waiting in line, and the front worker responded, “I don’t know, that’s between you guys.” Isn’t it the employee’s responsibility to manage the line and ensure customers are served in the order they arrived?"

"Mazzola has my favorite cinnamon roll in the city! They didn’t make it for a few years but they brought it back and I’ve been buying one almost every. single. day. Please go buy and rave about the frosted cinnamon roll so they never stop baking it! If you warm it in the oven for a few minutes it becomes gooey and gorgeous. Just leave one for me, okay?"

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and just tried Mazzola for the first time… it kills me to think of all the lard bread, pretzels, and other baked goods I’ve missed out on over the years. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Josefine is friendly and informative. This bakery will be a staple going forward🤍"

"Small Bakery with amazing Lard Bread. This is a lovely neighborhood bakery. The service is wonderful. They have a nice selection of pastries and they also have Pizza. The prices are very reasonable. I came specifically for the Lard Bread but I would definitely come back to try other items."
